  Initally as "little", he was himself but was always getting picked on but with the help of Kevin, Juan, and theresa they guided him to help shape his own indenitiy. However when we get to act two of Chiron, he really struggles with identity but wants to eagerly fit in. Terrell, his bully does not help whatsoever with his coming-of-age process. After the beatdown by Kevin initiated by Terrell, Chrion is is filled with anger and hits him with a chair in class and gets sent to Atlanta and starts dealing drugs. When we get to Black (act 3), Chrion is barely a shell of a his former self. Wearing baggy clothes, has a grill, and drives a lowrider. When Black meets up with Kevin back in Florida, he picks up on his lack of Indentity. Chiron at the end of the film slowly finds himself returning to a kid that he once was.   In the last two years, Breaking Bad has skyrocketed in popularity, espeically for GEN-Z. I could give you the whole summary of the whole show and say why it's awesome but I'm not going to do that. If you enjoy drama-filled, precsion acting, and action shows, then just watch it please. Walter White played by Bryan Cranston and his "sidekick" Jesse Pinkman played by Aaron Paul were some of the best chracters (and their development) were truly amazing. What's funny to me about this show is that it had very low ratings in its' first 3 seasons but gained massive popularity when season 4 came out in 2012. I will have to agree the first season takes a while to digest and understand the story/chracters but once you are in...you're hooked.  I think one of the most unique things done in movie/film history was the reverse progression of Walter White, our main chracter. Heres the scene I picked!  What is the Story?  The “heart” of Jaws occurs at the beach when the mayor and tourists finally get a glimpse of the shark. When the reports of the shark were coming in Brody wanted to shut the beaches down but the mayor was persistent in keeping the beaches open because it was the busiest time of the year for Amity.  From any audience perspective, you could relate to the actors on the beaches becoming terrified of being hurt by the great white. Speilberg carefully selected his shots to be more up close with the shark instead of it being from the sand. I believe this was for the audience to understand the magnitude of the shark and the fear he possessed. Once people were out on the beaches and saw the shark with their own eyes the island collectively knew Brody, Quint, and Matt had to go kill it.  What is the camera doing?  As mentioned before, most of the shots are mid-level or close up with eye-level shots with cuts of Brody on the b...

After the in-class viewing of Swiss Army Man directed by Daniels, my initial reaction is that is a very unique film. Typically, this would not be the type of film I would willingly watch on my own but I do appreciate that I watched it. Hank played by Paul Dano is a phenomenal actor, I've seen his work from The Batman and Manny played by Daniel Radcliffe has been a household name in the industry since he was young. Although Dr.Kyburz told us to take the film at face value, I still tried to see the unlying notions or sequences of the film. I always do that when I watch new films and I definitely need to just learn to take in films as they are. That style of viewing films is derived from the multiple Christopher Nolan films I Had to watch back in high school and complete analysis.  Here's the trailer if you are interested in checking out the film!!  Anyways!
